Where is a Safe Place to Live in El Paso Tx
.Where is a safe place to live in El Paso Tx
As a full time REALTOR and Buyer's Agent I am often asked "Where is a safe place to live in El Paso". If the national dialog is to be believed, El Paso is a dangerous city. Yet survey after survey shows that we are one of the safest per capita. Of course, if you are not native to El Paso, you would not know that despite the violence in Mexico, El Paso is quite, friendly and culturally diverse metropolitan city. El Paso is a paradox as it borders the most violent country in the world. What does this say about El Paso? I think it illiterates the great job our local police and border patrol have done to keep us safe. In fact, the federal government has more agents stationed in El Paso than other cities of Comparable size. Where do my clients tell me they feel safest? I would say they tell me the West, far northeast and east El Paso is where they want to live. "Feeling Safe" is a subjective issues that can easily be overcome after getting to know your way arround. I have lived in just about every area of El Paso, in the past 35 years, and I have never felt "unsafe".
